In this, we are able to be of assistance to clients anywhere in the world, upgrading existing manuals or creating new sets of manuals to the Regulator Standards of the given country, including the advent of Competency-Based Training manuals for Dangerous Goods
Competency-based Training for Dangerous goods
Numerous Regulators, including SACAA have determined that all company personnel who handle, offer for transport, or transport Dangerous Goods must now be trained and assessed in the regulatory subject matter relating to their tasks every two years. This differs vastly from the previous Dangerous Goods training, which was purely classroom-based.
Southern Cross Aviation Safety (Pty) Ltd has developed a CBT-DG starter pack which can be adapted to suit your specific Company needs and practices in order for you to submit your application to the Regulator.
This starter pack includes:
- A CBT-DG Training Program Manual.
- Lesson Plans to assist the Assessor/ Instructor with the recurrent training.
- A 2Gb Media Library (videos, PPT presentations and narratives/ handouts) to assist with On-the-Job DG training.
- Basic guidelines on the use and application of the starter-pack.
Not included, but available, should your company require it, is a Dangerous Goods Manual, compliant with CBT for DG
Transcription Services
Southern Cross Aviation Safety now offers professional transcription services to aviation companies for minutes of meetings, witness interviews for investigations and compilation of training documents.
Having extensive aviation experience, means that the jargon used in this industry is easily understood, leading to a more accurate transcript.
Total confidentiality is guaranteed and agreed upon in writing prior to the receipt of the audio recording by us, which has to be as clear as possible in MP3/MP4 or similar format to expedite the process.
